It's Spring for Sure!

DSCN3150.JPG
When I went away to LA, the weather got colder here (and warmer in LA, incidentally--coincidence? You be the judge =)), so my worries that the long-awaited Spring bloom would start here without me were ill-founded. Nothing changed here while I was away. I got a chance to see the buds open up around me. Some of the trees have yet to be roused from their slumber, but many plants and trees are awake and making for very pretty pictures.

"Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" These lyrics come to mind when I look outside and see the gloomy day and then read where it is so beautiful there. You definately are my sunshine, sweetheart. Great photo's as usual. It's cold here and they say it will rain for the next 3 days, great! I just planted my garden last weekend and it is beatiful. I took photos today and will send them to you when I get them developed. Yes, developed. Don't have a digital so there.

Much love,
Mom

Hey Kylowna,

Yes, Spring in Europe, we've weathered the cold. It's stunning here in Paris right now. Have an Argentine barbecue Sunday, getting ready for the world cup in June, how are the Czechies feeling about their match against the US (I'm scared but we've pulled off upsets before). Thanks for the Sequoia shots, one of my favorite places in Cali. Are you heading down here anytime? I may pass through Prague on my way to Eastern Europe in July, will you still be there. I'm adding a lyric of my own, when my time in a city is winding down, I think of the talking heads song "Home, is where I want to be."
Enjoy
